In Genesis 16:13 (ESV) it says of Hagar,

So she called the name of the Lord who spoke to her, “You are a God of seeing,” for she said, “Truly here I have seen him who looks after me.”

Dear reader, likewise, the heart of our heavenly Father was also moved by our pain and suffering, and before we called upon His name, God sent Jesus to seek and save the lost. Before we knew we were dead, He sent His Son to make us alive!
